The processing of cotton is very sustainable in the production process, as the wool can be reused almost in its raw state. Very little of the raw material is lost during further processing. Further advantages for the environment: the average water consumption of organic cotton is lower than in conventional cultivation. In addition, chemical pesticides are not used and natural fertilizers are used.
